TASTY TUESDAY

Glazed Ham in a Bag

5 lb cooked ham, thawed
3 tbs concentrated orange juice
1 tbs dijon mustard

Rinse meat. Pat dry. Place in a cooking bag (like one used for a turkey, normally found in the ziplock section of your grocery store). Cut 3 slits in the ham about 2 inches deep. Place ham in the bag. Combine OJ and mustard in a small cup. Mix well. Spoon some of the mixture into the slits of the ham. Pour the rest on top and spread over ham. Seal bag with the twist tie. Poke 4 holes in the top of the bag. Place in slow cooker. Cover. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Slice ham, serve with juices.

I served this for Christmas dinner one year. It got rave reviews and was hard to convince people that it was so easy! I served it with baked potatoes, green beans, salad and rolls. The meat is so tender and is great the next day for cold cuts or reheated! Go ahead, volunteer to bring the ham for the holidays!
