TASTY TUESDAY

Spanish Okra

1 lb stew meat
1 cup chopped onions
2 cups sliced fresh or frozen okra (I use frozen)
1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
6 cups cooked brown rice

Place all ingredients in slow cooker EXCEPT RICE. Mix well. Cook on low 6-7 hours, or until stew meat is cooked through and tender. Cook rice when ready to eat. Serve okra mixture over the rice. Goes well with a crunchy cold green salad. This meal is always a home run with my family! Bon appetite!
